Editing the Number of Approvals for a Field

It's possible to change the amount of times a field needs to be approved before the change will go live, in order to further protect the data from unwanted changes. As this page is restricted to the Administrators and Approvers groups, it can't be reached through the UI. Therefore, you'll need to use one of the following links (depending on your company):

Once you've navigated to this page, you'll see a list of all objects and their fields:




Entering a number into the Approvals Required text-box within the header row of the object will set the default number of approvals for all fields within that object:



If you wish to override this number for a specific field, you can enter this into the Approvals Required text-box within the field row:



If the whole object or the individual field requires review, you can check the Requires Review checkbox to the right of the row. 

All changes can then be saved by using the Save button at the very bottom of the page.
